“#Nancy Pelosi’s latest coup-coup nonsense<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says her team is \u201cgoing to be talking about the 25th Amendment\u201d on Friday \u2014 the latest in a long line of nutty Democratic fantasies of getting rid of President Trump.<\/p>\n

Pelosi, who hasn\u2019t actually talked to the prez in months, claims to think he\u2019s mentally off thanks to his COVID-19 treatments (or something). Yet she\u2019s only exposing (again) Democrats\u2019 own Trump Derangement Syndrome, because this potential coup is an obvious non-starter.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s \u201cdisassociation from reality would be funny if it weren\u2019t so deadly,\u201d she claimed \u2014 just because he\u2019s made his usual fast-changing threats and offers over the relief bill that Democrats have stalled in Congress.<\/p>\n

The 25th Amendment allows for temporary ouster of a disabled president, but it requires the active participation of a majority of his cabinet \u2014 or the Republican Senate\u2019s assent to setting up some other body to rule on his fitness. The prez just gave an hour-long interview to Maria Bartiromo \u2014 pretty compelling proof that he\u2019s clicking on all cylinders. And there is no provision for removing a president just because Pelosi is offended by his existence.<\/p>\n

Pelosi\u2019s noise follows a host of forlorn Democratic get-Trump plans, which hit their apex with her ramshackle impeachment show early this year \u2014 even as the coronavirus was quietly hitting these shores.<\/p>\n

The kookie conspiracies go all the way back to late 2016, when Dems tried to organize enough \u201cfaithless electors\u201d to give Hillary Clinton an Electoral College majority.<\/p>\n

More direly, various Obamaites at the same time concocted the \u201cRussian collusion\u201d fantasy \u2014 ginning up an utterly phony Trump-Putin plot to steal the 2016 election. That one burned up endless White House time and fed vast left-wing paranoia, for years.<\/p>\n

The flip side of this madness is liberals\u2019 endless whining about their supposed fears for an \u201corderly transition\u201d if Trump loses in November \u2014 even as Clinton publicly advises Joe Biden to never concede defeat. That presages a national version of 2018 losing Georgia candidate Stacey Abrams\u2019 years-long insistence that she actually won.<\/p>\n

Sorry, Nancy: It\u2019s Democrats\u2019 delusions that would be \u201cfunny\u201d if they weren\u2019t so deadly.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
