“#Invincible: Amazon Previews Animated Superhero Series<\/a> from Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Invincible<\/i> is coming soon to Amazon Prime Video. The new animated superhero series is from Robert Kirkman, the man behind The Walking Dead<\/i>, and a trailer has been released. The first season will consist of eight hour-long episodes and the comic book adaptation will the gore that the comics are known for as well as a lot of high-flying action.<\/p>\n

Steven Yeun is playing the main character of this series, a 17-year-old named Mark Grayson. Living in the shadow of his own superhero father, Mark\u2019s life changes when he starts to develop powers of his own. The rest of the voice cast includes Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, Melise, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin, and Max Burkholder.<\/p>\n

Amazon revealed more about this new series in a press release and at New York Comic Con\u2019s Metaverse.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmazon Prime Video today released a teaser trailer from Robert Kirkman\u2019s (The Walking Dead<\/i>) upcoming, hour-long animated series Invincible,<\/em> as part of Kirkman\u2019s app<\/a>earance at New York Comic Con\u2019s Metaverse, which is now available to stream on the NYCC official YouTube<\/a> channel.<\/p>\n

The teaser trailer gave fans their first look at what to expect from Kirkman\u2019s television adaptation of his iconic comic book, including fan-favorite characters, high-flying action, and all the gore audiences have come to expect from the Invincible comics.<\/p>\n

<\/i>From The Walking Dead<\/i> creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound\/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who\u2019s just like every other guy his age \u2013 except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father\u2019s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.<\/p>\n
