\n Doomsday-obsessed mom Lori Vallow spoke with her children about the end of the world and wanting to \u201call die together,\u201d a friend of her daughter said in a new report.<\/p>\n

Alexcia Law recounted how close she was to the family, saying she considered Vallow \u201clike second mom\u201d and grew up with her 17-year-old daughter, Tylee Ryan, Idaho outlet KUTV reported on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cLori would talk about the end of the world and the second coming all the time. And she would joke about it; she\u2019d be like, \u2018let\u2019s go off a cliff,\u2019 \u201d Law told the station.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s like, \u2018the world is going to end, let\u2019s just die all together.\u2019 And talk about running all of us off of a cliff together,\u201d Law added.<\/p>\n

Tylee\u2019s remains, and those of her 7-year-old brother JJ Vallow, were found last week, buried on a property owned by Vallow\u2019s husband Chad Daybell.\u00a0 Daybell was taken into custody after the discovery and charged with destruction of evidence, while Vallow had been arrested in February for child desertion.<\/p>\n

Law said she befriended the Vallows when they lived in Hawaii, and recalled how Lori, who was the children\u2019s leader at their church, would often bake them oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is hard because I saw Lori as, like, my second mom,\u201d Law told the station, adding that she dismissed her doomsday rantings as a joke.<\/p>\n

Friends and family members have said Lori was an attentive mother to the two kids until she became involved with Daybell in a religious group called \u201cPreparing a People.\u201d<\/p>\n

Law said she was heartbroken by what happ<\/a>ened to the children \u2014 who went missing in September \u2014 and was also torn over Vallow being charged in her kids\u2019 disappearance.<\/p>\n

Law said she lost touch with the family after they relocated to Arizona, and she moved to Utah.<\/p>\n

But she reconnected with Tylee after the teen\u2019s dad, Charles Vallow, was shot dead by Lori\u2019s brother Alex Cox in Phoenix, Arizona, last July amid a contentious divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI texted her, I was like, \u2018I\u2019m thinking about you and hope you\u2019re OK.\u2019 She was like, \u2018I\u2019m OK,\u2019 and I never heard from her again. It was really sad,\u201d Law said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
