\n Call it The Kanye West syndrome.<\/p>\n

An open letter demanding governments pursue \u201cherd immunity\u201d in regards to COVID-19 has been found to contain fake names among the \u201cexperts\u201d as well as the general<\/a> public.<\/p>\n

\u201cExperts\u201d in the Great Barrington Declaration, which claimed to represent more than 15,000 scientists and medical practitioners as well as 150,000 members of the general public, included \u201cDr. I.P. Freely\u201d, \u201cDr. Person Fakename\u201d and \u201cDr. Johnny Bananas, who listed himself as a \u201cDr of Hard Sums,\u201d according to an expos\u00e9 in SkyNews<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other names included \u201cProfessor Cominic Dummings\u201d (a play on Dominic Ummings, the chief adviser to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson), a resident who attended the \u201cuniversity of your mum\u201d as well as \u201cDr. Harold Shipman,\u201d a general practitioner in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

A doctor called Harold Shipman killed more than 200 of his patients before he was arrested in 1998.<\/p>\n

Also included were names of 18 \u201cself-declared homeopaths.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fake names on petitions have become popular this year \u2014 especially with Kanye West, who has been booted off the presidential ballot for four states after it was found that fake signatures like Mickey Mouse and Bernie Sanders littered his petitions.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
