period<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>Also this week, Wrapped Bitcoin <\/b><b>topped $1 billion in total value locked<\/b><b> after a 900% increase in two months.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>All eyes now are on the U.S. election, and whether it\u2019ll impact Bitcoin\u2019s price. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One trader, \u201cBigCheds,\u201d told Cointelegraph <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a clear winner won\u2019t affect crypto<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> too much, but he believes \u201cwe should see a bounce in bond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>He was arrested on Oct. 1 after being accused of flouting money-laundering rules in violation of the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as illegally offering derivatives trading to U.S. retail customers.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reed has deposited $500,000 in cash with the court as part of the agreement, and his bond will be forfeited if he fails to appear in court or doesn\u2019t surrender to serve any sentence the court may impose. <\/span><b>His passport has also been seized.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His fellow co-founders and colleagues \u2014 Arthur Hayes, Ben Delo and Gregory Dwyer \u2014 are all indicted with the same charges and remain \u201cat large.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>BitMEX announced <\/b><b>sweeping changes to its top leadership<\/b><b> this week, meaning the exchange\u2019s three co-founders will no longer hold executive roles. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But David Carman, a former Chicago Board Options Exchange trader, told Cointelegraph that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the damage may already have been done<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the legal drama
