A video of the incident went viral Monday after it was posted to the r\/PublicFreakout sub<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reddit<\/a>. In the roughly 14 hours since it was posted, the video has earned more than 18,000 likes and heaps of critical comments. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-reddit wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-card\"><p>      <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PublicFreakout\/comments\/ja1aqh\/man_attacks_nashville_tn_news_crew_trying_to_film\/?ref_source=embed&amp;ref=share\">Man attacks Nashville TN news crew trying to film story about volunteers making masks for school<\/a> from      <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PublicFreakout\/\">PublicFreakout<\/a>    <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>    <script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.redditmedia.com\/widgets\/platform.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The video begins with the crew testing their equipment when a large man in a red t-shirt approaches. His demeanor is aggressive from the start.<\/p>\n<p>Both members of the film crew attempt to greet the man in red as he stomps toward the cameraman, but he clearly has a goal. He walks up to the cameraman and immediately puts hands on his equipment. The only phrase he utters throughout the video is a grumbled \u201cI told you\u201d at the start of the altercation. <\/p>\n<p>The man then begins to aggress the cameraman, who continues filming. He continually attempts to grab the camera equipment and strike the cameraman, dragging him by his shirt at one point. The incident is filmed from two different angles, as the reporter also captures it with her cellphone. Her video shows the man in red taking swings at her partner and landing a few blows before falling to the ground. This gives the duo time to retreat to their car.<\/p>\n<p>The comment section for the video on Reddit is riddled with savage remarks about the man in red. The top comment thread makes a mockery of the unknown man\u2019s attack through references to 2009\u2019s <em>Zombieland<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s an assault charge,\u201d commenter <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/gennewsei\/\">gennewsei<\/a> wrote. \u201cBut after I saw the entire video, more importantly is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/zombieland.fandom.com\/wiki\/Zombieland_Rules\">rule 1. Cardio.<\/a>\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe most definitely didn\u2019t limber up either,\u201d another commenter quipped. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd he most certainly did not <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> light,\u201d a third added. <\/p>\n<p>Police reached the scene soon after the incident but were unable to locate the man in red. The news crew suspects he lives near the elementary school. The Metro Nashville PD is currently seeking the man for assault.
