\n The Wendy\u2019s employee who called police on Rayshard Brooks before his fatal shooting in Atlanta told dispatchers Brooks was asleep and app<\/a>eared intoxicated \u2014 but he was not armed, the 911 call shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s intoxicated. He\u2019s in the middle of my drive-thru,\u201d the unidentified caller calmly told a dispatcher last Friday night of the 27-year-old father of four.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to wake him up but he\u2019s parked dead in the middle of the drive-thru, so I don\u2019t know what\u2019s wrong with him,\u201d said the staffer at the restaurant later torched by protesters.<\/p>\n

The employee made it clear that Brooks\u2019 behavior was just an annoyance because he left \u201ccars going around him\u201d to use the drive-thru, the 911 call released Monday by Atlanta police shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe woke up, looked at me and I was like, \u2018You gotta move out the drive-thru,’\u201d she told the dispatcher.<\/p>\n

Asked if he appeared to have any weapons, the employee insisted, \u201cNo, no, I think he\u2019s intoxicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding officers initially had a friendly chat with Brooks, who admitted drinking to celebrate his daughter\u2019s birthday \u2014 only turning when he fought to escape being handcuffed, bodycam shows.<\/p>\n

He grabbed a cop\u2019s Taser and was shot twice in the back as he tried to run away, an autopsy report showed.<\/p>\n

The officer who fired the fatal shots \u2014 seven-year veteran Garrett Rolfe \u2014 was fired within 24 hours and is being eyed for possible murder charges, Atlanta\u2019s district attorney has revealed.<\/p>\n

A stray police bullet also hit a car with children inside, a lawyer for the slain man\u2019s family said Monday.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
