“#How to build a machine learning model in 10 minutes<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n I like to divide my machine learning education into two eras:<\/p>\n

I spent the first era learning how to build models with tools like\u00a0scikit-learn<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>TensorFlow<\/a>, which was hard and took forever. I spent most of that time feeling insecure about all the things I didn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

The second era\u2013after I kind of knew what I was doing \u2013 I spent wondering why building machine learning\u00a0models was so damn hard. After my insecurity cleared, I took a critical look at the machine learning tools we used today and realized this stuff is a lot harder\u00a0than it needs to be<\/em>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why I think the way we learn machine learning\u00a0today\u00a0<\/span>is about to change<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also why I\u2019m always delighted when I discover a tool that makes model-building fun, intuitive, and friction-less. That couldn\u2019t be more true of\u00a0<\/span>Teachable Machine<\/a>. It\u2019s a free program, build by Google, that lets you train deep learning models right from your browser. It\u2019s so easy that even elementary school kids can use it!<\/p>\n

Today, you can train image, pose, and sound models with Teachable Machine.<\/p>\n

Under the hood, it uses\u00a0<\/span>TensorFlow.js<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to train a model, which is nice for a couple of reasons:<\/p>\n
