\n You don\u2019t have to light forests on fire to announce the sex of your baby.<\/p>\n

A Florida woman has devised a hilarious way to reveal her kid\u2019s gender \u2014 by having people in giant baby costumes duke it out on their front lawn.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been such a sad and gloomy year for all of us so we wanted something that would bring some joy and laughter to everyone,\u201d said Jacksonville\u2019s Rose Safar, who is pregnant with the recently-revealed baby boy.<\/p>\n

She added that she wanted to entertain her guests, rather than just \u201cpop a balloon or confetti popper\u201d as is custom at most gender reveal parties, Storyful reported.<\/p>\n

Her relative came up with the idea for the baby boxing match to \u201csymbolize which sperm won the fight to get inside the egg during conception,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In the Facebook video<\/a> of the big event posted Tuesday by Safar, the expectant mother\u2019s cousin and nephew can be seen throwing down while dressed in ridiculous blowup baby getups.<\/p>\n

The bout concludes with the boy facsimile knocking down his female counterpart to the cheers of the bash\u2019s 90-something guests.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, no one was hurt during the tyke-wondo match, according to Safar, who said that \u201cit was a truly memorable evening for everyone.\u201d Her baby boy, named Zayn Alloush, is due March 2021, per the Facebook<\/a> post.<\/p>\n

The light-hearted fight simulation was a far cry from the dangerous stunts observed at many gender reveal parties of late. In the most infamous incident in September, a California couple sparked a massive forest fire after igniting a pyrotechnic device to reveal their fetus\u2019 sex.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
