And as a new virtual fundraiser for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailydot.com\/tags\/joe-biden\/\">Joe Biden<\/a> is set to take place this week, people have noticed one person who didn\u2019t show up.<\/p>\n<p>First <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2020\/film\/news\/avengers-cast-joe-biden-fundraiser-1234808804\/\">announced Sunday<\/a>, \u201cVoters Assemble!\u201d is reuniting the Russo Brothers (who directed <em>Infinity War<\/em> and <em>End<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a><\/em>) with some of the <em>Avengers<\/em> cast to join Democratic vice presidential candidate <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailydot.com\/tags\/kamala-harris\/\">Kamala Harris<\/a> for a Q&amp;A and trivia. The fundraiser, which will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 20, will include Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, and Zoe Saldana.<\/p>\n<p>Not every actor who played a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is involved; for example, Robert Downey Jr. is noticeably absent. They pointed to how he belongs to a church that is \u201cfamously anti-LGBTQ\u201d because its founder does not support same-sex marriage and doesn\u2019t accept all lifestyles. Pratt also didn\u2019t participate in a <em>Parks and Recreation<\/em> virtual reunion last month that <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bustle.com\/entertainment\/parks-recreation-stars-will-reunite\">doubled as a Democratic fundraiser<\/a>, so his absence from the <em>Avengers<\/em> fundraiser for Biden isn\u2019t the first time he\u2019s not joined a political fundraiser.<\/p>\n<p>The closest Pratt gotten to being political on Instagram (where most of his updates are about his family\u2019s farm) is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CA3c08lJsML\/\">sharing an <em>Atlantic<\/em> article<\/a> written by Arnold Schwarzenegger (and Pratt\u2019s father-in-law) at the end of May titled \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/ideas\/archive\/2020\/05\/arnold-schwarzenegger-america-needs-do-better\/612442\/\">The America I Love Needs to Do Better<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he\u2019s gotten way more ire for appearing to make fun of many people\u2019s insistence that it\u2019s more important to vote by urging his followers to vote for <em>Onward<\/em> in for the People\u2019s Choice Awards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith all that\u2019s going on in the world it is more important than ever that you vote,\u201d Pratt wrote on Oct. 2. \u201cJust ask any celebrity. They will tell you. Every day. Several times a day. To vote. But me?
