New S**T has come to light,\u201d the 70-year-old\u00a0actor <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJeffBridges\/status\/1318341223384518663\">tweeted<\/a> on Monday night. \u201cI have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I\u2019m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJeffBridges\/status\/1318341224772796417?s=20\">second tweet<\/a>, he thanked his friends and family for support and reminded his fans to vote in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> election.<\/p>\n<p>Known for a string of iconic roles in films like <em>The Big Lebowski<\/em>, <em>Tron<\/em>, <em>True Grit<\/em>, and <em>Crazy Heart<\/em> (for which he won the Oscar for best actor), Jeff Bridges is widely admired both for his prolific career and his laidback public persona. He currently has one upcoming project in the works: an FX\/Hulu spy thriller <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> called <em>The Old Man<\/em>, co-starring John Lithgow and Alia Shawkat and created by the writers of <em>Black Sails<\/em>.
