After leaving the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> satire program on Comedy Central, he\u2019s mostly been laying low, but now he\u2019s back in the political arena again, this time as a writer\/director with a new comedy about the convoluted and perplexing election process in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Irresistible<\/em><\/strong> follows <strong>Steve Carell<\/strong>, himself a former correspondent of <em>The Daily Show<\/em>, as Democratic political consultant who tries to turn a retired Marine colonel (<strong>Chris Cooper<\/strong>) into a mayoral candidate in a small Wisconsin town. This gets the attention of the national Republican party, and they bring in their own consultant in the form of Carell\u2019s rival, played by <strong>Rose Byrne<\/strong> (<em>Bridesmaids<\/em>). And that\u2019s when the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> of politics really heats up in the new <em>Irresistible<\/em> trailer.<span id=\"more-622278\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Final_Irresistible_Trailer\"><\/span>Final Irresistible Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TtGIR4xQKrM?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In addition to mocking the traditional methods of building up a political candidate for the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> and the way various news networks handle coverage of the campaign trail, writer\/director Jon Stewart has put two comical characters at the center of the story. Though the comedy is clearly played up more than the actual politics of if all, one has to wonder if it\u2019s all a gateway for Stewart to provide some significant and provocative commentary on our entire election process.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the rivalry between Steve Carell and Rose Byrne, we get a little more of a glimpse of Chris Cooper\u2019s entrance into politics, something that his character likely won\u2019t be into as the campaign continues. Meanwhile, <strong>Mackenzie Davis<\/strong> (<em>Terminator: Dark Fate<\/em>) is also <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earing in the movie as Chris Cooper\u2019s daughter, likely as a dissenting voice of reason as her father gets caught up in the political circus.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s something about this movie that feels too broad for me.
