\n A Starbucks barista is going viral for keeping her cool when a California customer went on a wild rant after being asked to wear her mask \u2014 even randomly screaming \u201cF\u2013k Black Lives Matter\u201d at the black teen.<\/p>\n

Alex Beckom, 19, said she asked the customer to wear a face covering<\/a> in the java joint in suburban San Diego on Sunday when the woman in a cropped blue top and black shorts started ranting about staff \u201cdiscriminating against\u201d her.<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2013k Black Lives Matter. I need a straw,\u201d the enraged customer barks at the teen barista. Beckom then politely hands her utensils and some sugar.<\/p>\n

In an apologetic tone, Beckom then tells the customer, who had a mask around her chin but not covering her face, that \u201cthe next time you come in, I need you to put your mask on\u201d \u2014 further enraging the anti-masker.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, it\u2019s not a law \u2014 it\u2019s not a law! And I can show you the penal code and everything. It\u2019s a hoax!\u201d the customer yells as she starts walking away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have to wear a mask \u2014 I\u2019m not going to wear a mask! This is America and I don\u2019t have to do what you say!\u201d the customer screams.<\/p>\n

With a loud \u201cF\u2013k you,\u201d the angry anti-masker finally leaves \u2014 just to come straight back in for one last shot, again yelling, \u201cF\u2013k Black Lives Matter!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another customer immediately sympathizes with Beckom \u2014 who was quickly hailed on social media<\/a> for keeping her cool.<\/p>\n

\u201cMad props to the barista tho. I woulda knocked the lady flat out,\u201d one woman named Gabby wrote<\/a> on Twitter, while another, named Sara, wrote<\/a>, \u201cDamn @Starbucks give this woman a raise!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The video also pleased the most important person, Beckom said in a later update<\/a> \u2014 her manager, who was \u201chapp<\/a>y that I managed the situation with poise and maturity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy didn\u2019t I just punch the lady? Because I like my job, and I want to keep my job,\u201d Beckom said with a smile.<\/p>\n

Starbucks told NBC San Diego<\/a> that the customer\u2019s behavior \u201cis not welcome in our stores.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus right now is providing support to our partner who demonstrated tremendous composure during a very difficult interaction,\u201d the coffee giant said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
