As usual, Microsoft is slowly rolling out the update to small numbers of PCs at a time, letting people choose to install it and see how it works on their PCs.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re not in a rush, we recommend you wait until Windows Update automatically offers the update to your PC. This ensures the update is as stable as possible before you get it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Get_the_Update_from_Windows_Update\"><\/span>How to Get the Update from Windows Update<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As of October 20, 2020, Microsoft says this update will <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear in Windows Update\u2014for some devices.<\/p>\n<p>To find it, head to Settings &gt; Update &amp; Security &gt; Windows Update. Click \u201cCheck for Updates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If the update is available, you\u2019ll see a message saying so and you can click \u201cDownload and install\u201d to install it. Windows will download the update. If you don\u2019t see the update, it\u2019s possible your PC has a compatibility issue that should be fixed before you install the update.<\/p>\n<p>But, if you want to install the update anyway, that\u2019s a choice you can make.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warning<\/strong>: We recommend against doing this, as you\u2019re skipping part of the testing process. You may experience bugs or other problems.<\/p>\n<p>To skip Microsoft\u2019s gradual rollout process, visit Microsoft\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/software-download\/windows10\">Download Windows 10<\/a> page. Click \u201cDownload Now\u201d to download the Update Assistant and run the downloaded EXE file.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll see a message telling you which version of Windows 10 you\u2019re running. It will say the latest version of Windows 10 is version 2009, which is the October 2020 Update.<\/p>\n<p>To go ahead with the update, click \u201cUpdate Now\u201d to install it. This skips any \u201cholds\u201d Windows Update may have to prevent your PC from upgrading.
