With little information coming from the firm or its CEO Jay Hao in the time since, users have begun demanding answers via <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In an Oct. 20 tweet from Hao, the CEO <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JayHao8\/status\/1318446481183973376\">stated<\/a> that there had been \u201cno on-chain out-flow\u201d since the exchange announced it had \u201ctemporarily suspended\u201d withdrawals on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour assets are safe,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JayHao8\/status\/1318446481183973376\">said<\/a> Hao. \u201cWe&#8217;ll do our best to resume withdrawals ASAP.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exchange reported on Oct. 16 that it had suspended cryptocurrency withdrawals because one of its private key holders was \u201ccooperating with a public security bureau\u201d regarding an ongoing investigation. At the time, OKEx said that it planned to resume withdrawals \u201cimmediately\u201d, once it was able to authorize such transactions with the key holder.<\/p>\n<p>Reports indicate that the police also brought the exchange\u2019s founder Star Xu in for questioning\u00a0a week prior to the announcement. This has left OKEx users expressing their growing frustration:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s a bit weird one of the biggest exchanges in the world isn&#8217;t letting us withdraw money for so long\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Jojo87634284\/status\/1318462166555447296\">said<\/a>\u00a0crypto Twitter user Jojo. <\/p>\n<p>Many users <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CanArk_\/status\/1318606402659770369\">complained<\/a>\u00a0about the lack of transparency compared to that of other exchanges:\u00a0 <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhere is your CEO Jay Hao? He has to interact and give updated info frequently.
