PayPal argued that this move will \u201csignificantly increase cryptocurrency\u2019s utility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PayPal also disclosed in its release that it has obtained a conditional Bitlicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services. The Bitlicense helps \u201cencourage, promote, and assist interested institutions to have a well-regulated way to access the New York virtual currency marketplace,\u201d NYDFS superintendent Linda Lacewell said in PayPal\u2019s release. <\/p>\n<p>PayPal Chief Executive Dan Schulman said in the release that PayPal is \u201ceager to work with central banks and regulators around the world to offer our support, and to meaningfully contribute to shaping the role that digital currencies will play in the future of global finance and commerce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Financial <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> companies have dabbled in cryptocurrency over recent years.
