\n A former Fox News anchor tried to \u201chumiliate\u201d and victim-shame an ex-staffer who is suing him for rape by releasing sexually explicit images and messages she allegedly sent him, her lawyers claim in a new federal filing.<\/p>\n

Lawyers for Ed Henry, who was fired over the allegations in July, filed a motion to dismiss accuser Jennifer Eckhart\u2019s Manhattan federal court suit and included the raunchy pictures.<\/p>\n

Eckhart\u2019s lawyer Michael Willemin blasted Henry and his attorney Catherine Foti for choosing to \u201cpublicly file such personal and intimate images of Ms. Echkart to humiliate and retaliate against her for her decision to speak out against sexual abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

In court papers, Willemin called the tactic \u201cblatant victim shaming\u201d and \u201csimply abhorrent.\u201d The pornographic exhibits have since been temporarily sealed until the judge makes a final ruling.<\/p>\n

In the motion to dismiss, lawyers for the axed co-host of Fox\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Newsroom\u201d called Eckhart a \u201cwilling, consenting and enthusiastic participant in their relationship\u201d\u00a0 and supplied the raunchy sexts and images to prove it.<\/p>\n

The photos feature Eckhart\u2019s \u201cnaked breasts, photos of buttocks in a thong, and closeups of her vagina\u201d which were sent before and after she alleges Henry handcuffed and raped her in a Manhattan hotel in 2017, court papers allege.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile raping Ms. Eckhart, Mr. Henry performed sadistic acts on Ms. Eckhart, which included, among many other things, violently hitting her in the face multiple times,\u201d according to her complaint.<\/p>\n

Eckhart, who worked at Fox Business and names the Fox News Network in the suit, says that the married father of two \u201cpreyed upon, manipulated and groomed\u201d her into a relationship that started in 2014.<\/p>\n

Fox News has argued in the filings that Eckhart didn\u2019t report the rape allegation to the network until after she was fired and her claims against them should be dismissed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as the company learned of the allegations, it immedia<\/a>tely investigated and then terminated Henry within days,\u201d wrote Fox\u2019s lawyers, who said that Eckhart worked in a separate division of the network and was not under Henry\u2019s supervision.<\/p>\n

\u201cEckhart does not allege any facts to suggest that Fox News had any prior knowledge of Henry\u2019s alleged abuse, or even that the company could have known.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
