Tia Mowry-Hardrict<\/strong> revealed during Wednesday\u2019s episode of iHeartRadio<\/strong>\u2018s What to Expect<\/em> podcast that she and husband Cory Hardrict<\/strong> have to pencil sex into their schedule, which isn\u2019t always easy with two kids and a lot going on!<\/p>\n

In a People<\/em>-exclusive first listen of the new ep, host Heidi Murkoff<\/strong>\u00a0shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had sex dates. We had to have sex once a week. That was the rule in our house, because otherwise we wouldn\u2019t get around to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!<\/p>\n

The Sister, Sister<\/em> alum continued revealed she and her hunky hubby are also strict followers of the rules:<\/p>\n

\u201cHeidi, this is the first time where I\u2019m admitting it: We do, too. And when I was younger and when I would hear that, I\u2019d be like, \u2018Why do you have to do that?\u2019 But like you said, you do \u2014 especially with kids and with work and all that. You have to make sure that it\u2019s not neglected in any kind of way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All jokes aside, couples who are all over each other during the honeymoon phase can really settle in later on and forget about the importance of those needs. But intimacy is SUPER important! And if scheduling is how you make sure you, well, squeeze it in<\/em>, then we\u2019re all for it!<\/p>\n

During the chat, the Twitches<\/em> star also dished to the What to Expect When You\u2019re Expecting<\/em>\u00a0author the \u201cbeneficial\u201d piece of parenting advice she got before becoming a momma to 2-year-old Cairo Tiahna<\/strong> and 9-year-old Cree Taylor<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis woman had told me, \u2018Tia, make sure you do everything that you want to do. Even when it comes to having fun.\u2019 I was such a good girl, with Sister, Sister<\/em>; I rarely got drunk and I was like, \u2018Let me see what it feels like, just to get drunk.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She recalled:\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\u201cHave fun, travel<\/a>, do whatever it is that you want to do and that you can do before you have a child, because \u2026 certain things, it\u2019s going to be very easy for you to put on the back burner until things get settled again. I was asking this woman, \u2018How do you do it? How are you present with being a mom and with being a showrunner and being able to juggle all of these things, and you still have a smile on your face?\u2019 And she said, \u2018How can the goose lay the egg if the goose does not take care of herself?’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Well said, and exactly why scheduling that intimate time with Cory is so important!!<\/p>\n
