An MTA worker there said there had been even more in the morning that had since been cleaned up.<\/p>\n<p>At least one Bushwick resident wasn\u2019t happy to see the illegal art pieces, which covered everything from advertisements to the historic tiles bearing the station\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey don\u2019t look good. It makes the place look ghetto-type,\u201d said straphanger Maria Escobar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t need to see this. That makes New York worse, if you ask me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But some riders weren\u2019t bothered to see the vandalism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m shocked, but at the same time it\u2019s impressive. I think it goes well with the Bushwick community,\u201d local Angel Mejias told The Post as he waited on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an art community, especially in this area. It goes well with the subway. It represents the art of New York.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Long considered a relic from New York City\u2019s dark days, subway graffiti has made a resurgence in recent years, The Post reported last December.<\/p>\n<p>But tags in 2020 are rarely seen by the public, since the MTA im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely takes tagged trains out of service until they can be cleaned.<\/p>\n<p><!--If the slideshow is embedded in another post type add the inline wrapper --><\/p>\n<p>MTA spokesman Shams Tarek said the vandalism was discovered during the 6 a.m. hour on Wednesday.
