\n With all these iconic props, the right buyer could create the greatest film mashup homage Hollywood has ever known.<\/p>\n

A movie memorabilia auction<\/a> of massive proportions has been announced by Prop Store to take place on Dec. 1 and 2, and it\u2019s chock full of legendary items from silver screen classics.<\/p>\n

The 913 pieces from over 350 films set to be sold include the mechanical head from 1979\u2019s \u201cAlien\u201d \u2014 it\u2019s estimated to be worth at least $52,000 \u2014 the thigh-high black boots Julia Roberts\u2019 character Vivian Ward wore in 1990\u2019s \u201cPretty Woman\u201d (worth between $13,000 and $19,000) and Keanu Reeves\u2019 complete Neo costume from 2003\u2019s \u201cThe Matrix Reloaded\u201d ($52,000 to $78,000).<\/p>\n

Other venerable costume pieces include Marty McFly\u2019s (Michael J. Fox) jacket from 1989\u2019s \u201cBack to the Future Part II\u201d ($15,000 to $21,000) and Captain Miller\u2019s (Tom Hanks) cast-autographed helmet from 1988\u2019s \u201cSaving Private Ryan ($13,000 to $19,000).<\/p>\n

Multiple items from the \u201cStar Wars\u201d universe are also in the haul, including Obi-Wan Kenobi\u2019s (Ewan McGregor) lightsaber from 2005\u2019s \u201cRevenge of the Sith\u201d ($103,000 to $155,000) and a remote-controlled R2-S8 Droid from 2018\u2019s \u201cSolo: A Star Wars Story.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a 2001 poster for the first \u201cHarry Potter\u201d film signed by Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint ($385), the Joker\u2019s (Heath Ledger) necktie from 2008\u2019s \u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d ($10,000 to $13,000) and the Joker\u2019s (Jack Nicholson) fedora from 1989\u2019s \u201cBatman\u201d ($26,000 to $38,000).<\/p>\n

Prop Store\u2019s haul also includes pieces from \u201cTop Gun,\u201d \u201cLabyrinth,\u201d \u201cFight Club,\u201d \u201cPirates of the Caribbean,\u201d \u201cHook\u201d and \u201cThe Hunger Game<\/a>s.\u201d In all, the combined items are estimated to be worth over $5.6 million.<\/p>\n

The UK-based, 22-year-old movie auction house is organizing the event, which will be livestreamed and open to bids online and by phone. The sale, officially titled the \u201cEntertainment Memorabilia Live Auction 2020,\u201d even has its own teaser trailer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other recent auction news<\/a>, eBay has announced it will start authenticating pricey sneakers sold on its US marketplace, Eddie Van Halen\u2019s iconic guitars have hit the block and, controversially, a globe-shaped bar from Adolf Hitler\u2019s former yacht is being sold in Maryland.<\/p>\n
