Budget-fashion retailer Shein is being eviscerated online for an $11 high-cut bodysuit that\u2019s drawing comparisons to the mankini made infamous by Sacha Baron Cohen as Borat. The internet was alerted to the racy item\u2019s existence by a now-viral Facebook<\/a> post from a customer, who wrote, \u201cWhat is this!?,\u201d the Daily Mail reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The plus-size \u201cV-bar Neck High Cut Bodysuit\u201d is billed on the Chinese retailer\u2019s site<\/a> as \u201csexy\u201d with a \u201cslight stretch.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Facebook fashionistas thought that the risqu\u00e9 attire, with a cut that barely conceals the wearer\u2019s nether regions, was decidedly not \u201cvery niiiice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many users simply responded to the post with GIFs of Cohen\u2019s brazen beachwear worn to promote the 2006 film \u201cBorat.\u201d In the smash-hit mockumentary, fictitious Kazakh journalist Borat is dispatched to the United States to report on the alleged greatest country in the world.<\/p>\n

Some took shots at the bodysuit\u2019s constricting design.<\/p>\n

\u201cHigh cut? That\u2019s cut so damn high it\u2019s practically flossing her teeth,\u201d snarked one social-media comedian.<\/p>\n

\u201cSneeze and you\u2019ll be sliced up to your belly button,\u201d quipped another.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, others mocked the pic for app<\/a>earing to Photoshop the model. \u201cI reckon even Barbie and her non existent flaps would be like nope,\u201d wrote one cynic.<\/p>\n

Shein has not issued a comment on the groin-baring garment, but the timing comes as the \u201cBorat\u201d sequel, called \u201cBorat Subsequent Moviefilm,\u201d is slated to be released in the US on Friday.<\/p>\n
