People looking for that confident leader, that could have been a turn-off for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For undecided registered Republican Brian Suga, 23, the debate left him leaning more solidly toward Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden seemed to dance around the questions more than Trump did,\u201d he said. \u201cIt never really felt like Biden gave me something I could work with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, meanwhile, \u201cSeemed to be able to really control himself. Clark<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But Suga, too, noted that the two candidates hardly seem capable of agreeing on which color tie the other was wearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were both just going back and forth \u2014 with a lot of disagreement,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>With Trump insisting the pandemic \u201cis going away,\u201d and Biden bemoaning the 200,000 more Americans he said are on the brink of death, it seemed as if the two candidates were living in opposite realities, Suga said.<\/p>\n<p>The candidates also offered polarized views on climate change \u2014 with Trump touting the cleanliness of America\u2019s air and water, and Biden urging a steady retreat from all fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p>When Hunter Biden\u2019s emails came up \u2014 with Trump urging the vice president to come clean \u2014 Biden brushed the accusations off as if they were fictions not worth even discussing, said Suga.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want Biden to talk about these allegations,\u201d he said. \u201cI really would have liked to see at least an answer, a response, that was more than just \u2018That\u2019s not true.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, despite the divide between the candidates \u2014 and the rancor \u2014 this debate was far more civilized, noted all three first-timers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was much less shouting this time,\u201d than with the first presidential match-up, noted Suga, crediting the moderator,\u00a0NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> White House correspondent Kristen Welker, and a new rule that gave each candidate two minutes to speak on each of the night\u2019s six topics \u2014 with their opponent muted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis debate was night and day compared to the last debate \u2014 much calmer,\u201d agreed Trump supporter Efraim Abrams, 19, of West Hempstead.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16500189\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img class=\"size-nypost-large-desktop-uncropped wp-image-16500189 lazyload\" alt=\"Efraim Abrams\" width=\"662\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/E1506B96-5FAA-4FCB-B794-D4E51F101E1D.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=300 300w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/E1506B96-5FAA-4FCB-B794-D4E51F101E1D.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=640 640w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/E1506B96-5FAA-4FCB-B794-D4E51F101E1D.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1280 1280w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/E1506B96-5FAA-4FCB-B794-D4E51F101E1D.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=662 662w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/E1506B96-5FAA-4FCB-B794-D4E51F101E1D.jpeg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1324 1324w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 662px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span>Efraim Abrams<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Dennis A. Clark<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI think the American public really won,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think Trump was really able to prove that he should be the next president of the United States,\u201d\u00a0 added Abrams, who said the debate did not change his mind \u2014 and that his first presidential vote will be for four more years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden lost some major states tonight in my opinion,\u201d he said, noting the former veep\u2019s assertion during the debate that as president, he will move the country away from fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike Texas, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Ohio. These are major states that are heavily dependent on oil.
