The official Japanese Pokémon<\/strong><\/em> Twitter<\/a> account made a surprise announcement<\/span><\/a> today, the wonderfully animated web anime<\/a> shorts Pokémon: Twilight Wings<\/strong><\/em> will be returning for an "expansion pass-inspired" <\/em>short titled 'Star Festival' <\/em>on November 5 at 11 PM<\/strong> (Japan Time), reuniting the staff at Studio Colorido.<\/p>\n

While not much else is known about 'Star Festival',<\/em> it's being billed as being set in the areas of Galar featured in the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pas<\/strong><\/em>s, which also had its second part The Crown Tundra<\/strong><\/em> released today on the Nintendo Switch. The above tweet does note that this is a one-episode special, so sadly we can't expect more from the world of Galar.<\/p>\n

Pokémon: Twilight Wings<\/strong><\/em> features animation produced at Studio Colorido <\/strong>with director Shingo Yamashita<\/strong> overseeing the series<\/a>. All the episodes of the web series have so far been released with an English dub on the English Pokémon YouTube Channel<\/span><\/a>. It has not been announced if the new episode will be released in English at the same time as the Japanese version.<\/p>\n
