Well, if you\u2019ve updated to Windows 10\u2019s October 2020 Update, you can stop looking: It\u2019s gone. Here\u2019s why\u2014and what you should use instead.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Say_Goodbye_to_the_System_Page_in_the_Control_Panel\"><\/span>Say Goodbye to the System Page in the Control Panel<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Don\u2019t worry\u2014in the October 2020 Update, only one page has vanished from the Control Panel. The Settings app now has the same features the old System page did in the Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s doing this very, very gradually. Remember, Microsoft started this project with Windows 8, which was released in 2012 and was in development for a few years before that. A decade into Microsoft\u2019s \u201clet\u2019s replace the Control Panel\u201d project, the company is still making very slow progress.<\/p>\n<p>The Control Panel isn\u2019t going away any time soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>Don&#8217;t Worry: Windows 10&#8217;s Control Panel Is Safe (For Now)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_Use_Instead_of_the_System_Control_Panel\"><\/span>What to Use Instead of the System Control Panel<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for the System page, you\u2019ll find the new version in Settings. Just head to Settings &gt; System &gt; About. You can also open your Start menu, search for \u201cAbout,\u201d and launch the \u201cAbout Your PC\u201d tool.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever an application tries to open the System page, Windows will open the About page in the Settings app instead. You can try it yourself: The Windows+Pause\/Break keyboard shortcut now opens the About page instead of the old System Control Panel.
