Ducks and chicks and geese better scurry from these cheeky Australian veterinary school students, who strip<\/a>ped off their lab coats, and then some, to pose for a charity calendar.<\/p>\n

With a backside here, and a backside there \u2014 everywhere a backside! \u2014 the Veterinary Student Nude Calendar 2021 sure beats a Farmer\u2019s Almanac in predicting a bountiful 12 months to come.<\/p>\n

Money ponied up for the calendars will benefit farmers hard-hit by Australia\u2019s devastating 2019-2020 bushfires.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can ship all over the world!\u201d assures the project website, BumsForTheBush.com.<\/a><\/p>\n

The beautifully photographed calendar features strategically-positioned hats and farm equipment, and highlights the countryside\u2019s spacious skies without revealing too much of the amber waves of groin \u2026 er, grain.<\/p>\n

Creating the annual nude calendars is a decade-long, charitable tradition at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science<\/a>, according to the project website.<\/p>\n

But this year, COVID-19 restrictions made things challenging for the third-year students and crew who participated.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter careful planning to adhere to the current NSW COVID-19 regulations, the models were split up into small groups under 15 people that stayed separate throughout the day,\u201d the website says.<\/p>\n

\u201cMasks were used in between shoots and larger group photos seen were taken in small groups and edited together in post.\u201d<\/p>\n

The veterinarians-in-training also want the public to know that no animals were harmed in the making of the calendar.<\/p>\n

Embarrassed, maybe, but not harmed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs veterinary students, animal welfare considerations were at the top of our priority list going into the shoot,\u201d the website promises.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe animals used are accustomed to human interaction and were involved for the smallest time possible to take the pictures.\u201d<\/p>\n

Calendars cost $25 in Australian dollars \u2014 roughly $17 in US dollars \u2014and can be pre-ordered by emailing nudecalendarcommittee@gmail.com.<\/p>\n

Proceeds will go to Aussie Helpers,<\/a> a non-profit that aids local farming families.\n <\/div>\n
