\n An NYCFC player has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report.<\/p>\n

The Bronx-based Major League Soccer club said the diagnosis was first made Friday<\/a>, during pre-game<\/a> virus testing of the athletes, and confirmed with an additional test early Saturday.<\/p>\n

The player, who was not identified, is asymptomatic and is quarantining while being monitored by team staff.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s game against the Montreal Impact is not impacted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One player expected to be in tonight\u2019s game<\/a>, Ismael Tajouri-Shradi, is no longer listed in the lineup<\/a>.\n <\/div>\n
