MAGES., the developers behind the Science Adventure series<\/a> of visual novels with include Steins;Gate<\/strong><\/em>, announced on a live stream<\/span><\/a> tonight that a new game in the "Steins series"<\/em> is in development. The visual novel will be a kind of sequel to Steins;Gate<\/em><\/strong>, in the same vein as what ChäoS;Child<\/strong><\/em> is to ChäoS;HEAd<\/strong><\/em>. <\/p>\n

During the live-stream, MAGES, head Chiyomaru Shikura<\/strong>, who runs the studio Chiyomaru Studio which handles the rights to the Science Adventure series, discussed that the world line Steins;??? <\/strong><\/em>may be set in will be a "happ<\/a>y<\/em>" one and that the game was first known internally as Steins;God<\/strong><\/em> until Shikura<\/strong> decided against it.<\/p>\n

It was also teased that the Steins;Gate <\/strong><\/em>Hollywood TV adaptation, which was announced<\/span><\/a> in January, is coming along and they're currently setting the stage for it.<\/p>\n
