Sen. Kamala Harris was caught on a hot mic asking an aide what city she was in before greeting supporters at a campaign stop in Ohio on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Footage captured by C-SPAN<\/a> showed the Democratic vice presidential candidate turning to a staffer and asking, \u201cAre we in Cleveland?\u201d<\/p>\n

After app<\/a>arently getting confirmation of her location in the swing state, the California lawmaker said: \u201cHey, Cleveland, it\u2019s Kamala!\u201d<\/p>\n

The cringe-worthy clip circulated on social media<\/a>, with retweeters including<\/a> President Trump\u2019s son Eric Trump.<\/p>\n

Harris\u2019 visit to the Buckeye State \u2014 which came 10 days ahead of the presidential election \u2014 included an appearance at Cuyahoga Community College, where she urged voters to cast their ballots for her running mate Joe Biden.<\/p>\n

In her remarks, she accidentally misstated the US coronavirus death toll, saying COVID-19 had killed \u201cover 220 million\u201d Americans instead of 224,000, another clip showed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The senator rescheduled the Cleveland trip after canceling a week earlier because two of her staffers had tested positive for COVID-19, local outlets reported.<\/p>\n

While greeting voters lined up outside the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, Harris told them:\u00a0\u201cYou are going to make the difference!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are going to make the decision about your future, about your family\u2019s future. It is through the voice of your vote, and you have the power,\u201d she said, according to local outlet WKYC-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe power is with the people, and you know that. That\u2019s why you\u2019re standing in this line today, and I just came to say thank you!\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
