\nWendy Williams<\/strong> is walking back all the worry fans have been showing over her, um, interesting<\/em> show on Friday!<\/p>\n

As we reported earlier, the 56-year-old TV host\u2019s behavior during her Friday morning show was cause for concern for many fans who noticed she was stammering and slurring words. Worse still, a social media<\/a> post by her show\u2019s former DJ seemed to confirm what many fans had been concerned about regarding the host\u2019s possible relapse into substance abuse problems.<\/p>\n

Speaking Monday at the beginning of her \u201cHot Topics\u201d segment \u2014 the same one that gave her so much trouble on Friday \u2014 the New Jersey native seemed both miffed and thankful about the audience\u2019s keen eye, though she was notably much more lucid than she\u2019d app<\/a>eared to be during Friday\u2019s bizarre experience.<\/p>\n

Speaking without prompting from her producer this time, the on-air star said directly to the cameras (below):<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I always say I love you for watching \u2018cause I really, really do. And you know, I come here everyday and I try to do the best that I can for you. And I appreciate you watching. But even after all of these years, it\u2019s still work, you know? An effort put in for the hour I\u2019m out here, you know? I guess every day is not perfect, but I\u2019m not a perfectionist. I\u2019m not perfect. But I do appreciate you putting in the effort to watch us, and I \u2014 I love entertaining you, you know? And it\u2019s not easy. It\u2019s not easy. You\u2019re a tough crowd. \u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hmmm!<\/p>\n

It REALLY seems like she\u2019s holding back, doesn\u2019t it? Like maybe she\u2019s ANNOYED anyone would dare question her performance?? Say what you want to say, girl! We\u2019re sure it\u2019ll make for good TV, at least\u2026<\/p>\n

One thing is sure: she clearly isn\u2019t ready to reveal any personal problems at the moment.<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s still all speculation as to what may have been going on with Williams on Friday \u2014 if anything. She has a long history of battling addiction, though, along with a very public recent battle with Graves\u2019 Disease, to boot. So fans understandably became concerned when it appeared as though something was again amiss for the popular long-standing daytime TV host.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s interesting, because before the coronavirus pandemic swept across the world in late February and early March, Wendy\u2019s on-screen antics and behind-the-scenes behavior combined to be the<\/em> biggest story of the first two months of 2020. But now, that seems like it all happened years ago, doesn\u2019t it? What a year it\u2019s been.<\/p>\n

Anyways, here\u2019s hoping Wendy is now fully back on track after whatever the hell that was during Friday\u2019s show. Smooth sailing from here, we hope?!<\/p>\n
