\n A Georgia prosecutor is due to announce Wednesday if two Atlanta cops will face criminal charges in the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks.<\/p>\n

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard has scheduled a press conference for 3 p.m. to reveal the fates of ex-cop Garrett Rolfe, whose two shots killed Brooks, and Officer Devin Brosnan, who was placed on administrative leave, Howard said in a release.<\/p>\n

Howard said Sunday that there were three \u201crelevant\u201d charges in the case \u2014 manslaughter, murder, and felony murder.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I believe in this instance, what we have to choose between \u2014 if there\u2019s a choice to be made \u2014 is between murder and felony murder,\u201d the prosecutor said then.<\/p>\n

Brooks was killed Friday after a confrontation with the two cops outside a Wendy\u2019s restaurant. Brooks, 27, struggled with the officers when they tried to handcuff him after a field sobriety test.<\/p>\n

He scuffled with the officers before running off with one of their Tasers, and was shot twice in the back and killed.<\/p>\n

Rolfe was fired the following day.<\/p>\n

The Fulton County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office ruled Brooks\u2019 death a homicide on Sunday.<\/p>\n
