There are a variety of ways a bride can dress up her look. Short hemlines call for fabulous heels. Chilly weather needs a jacket or wrap. And a veil, whether birdcage or cathedral length, will complement any wedding-day look.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe must-have fall bridal accessory is something to keep warm and still look great,\u201d said wedding planner and event designer Lindsay Landman of Lindsay Landman Events<\/a>. While a bride is sure to find a lot of options in stores and online, Landman shares that some of her brides are looking to their families\u2019 closets for something warm and old. \u201cOne of our brides will be wearing a vintage fur bolero that was her grandmother\u2019s, which adds some sentimentality.\u201d<\/p>\n

A jacket or stole can also elevate the look of an understated dress from simple to elegant, noted Chapman. But the easiest way to transform any outfit is with a statement earring. \u201cIt brings a little sparkle by your face for photos and adds some sparkle to the look of the simplest dress,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
