\n Coronavirus is still raging in Florida, with 2,610 new cases recorded on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The latest statistics, released by state health officials, come a day after the state saw a record 2,783 cases of COVID-19 \u2014 and 25 new deaths.<\/p>\n

That brings the total number of cases in the Sunshine State to 82,719, with 3,018 dead.<\/p>\n

Three of the latest deaths were in Miami-Dade County, two in Broward and six in Palm Beach County, Local 10 reported.<\/p>\n

Of those tested for the first time in the state, 10.3 percent were positive for coronavirus.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis said the state wouldn\u2019t slow down reopening efforts despite the surge in cases since Florida entered Phase One in mid-May.<\/p>\n

The state has recorded more than 1,000 new cases each day except one since June 3, according to Local 10.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
