\nOne person who definitely isn\u2019t dismissing Armie Hammer<\/strong> and Lily James<\/strong>\u2019 rumored affair? His soon-to-be ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

As we reported, sources recently told\u00a0DailyMail.com<\/a><\/em> that the Call Me By Your Name<\/em> star\u2019s wife of ten years found \u201cpassionate texts\u201d and letters to Armie from a woman who signed herself \u201cAdeline\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0in the fall of 2019, causing a rift in their marriage that ultimately couldn\u2019t be repaired.<\/p>\n

While the identity of Adeline remains a mystery, the insider went on to claim Lily was referred to as \u201cAdeline\u201d on the call sheets and on her movie trailer for Rebecca<\/em> \u2014 the Netflix<\/strong> adaptation she filmed with Chambers\u2019 husband during the summer of 2019.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, neither actor has commented on the rumor, but Elizabeth has \u2014 and she\u2019s basically confirming the whole story is spot on. How do we know this, you ask?<\/p>\n

This is a very inneresting development, seeing as the actor blamed the dissolution of their marriage on the coronavirus pandemic during an interview earlier this year. Now, the Today<\/em> show contributor is seemingly corroborating \u201cAdeline\u201d played a part in their split as well.<\/p>\n

Per the initial DM<\/em> source, Lily was \u201csmitten\u201d with Armie from the moment they met on the set of the Gothic novel adaptation, which started filming in the UK in June of 2019. The confidant told the publication:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was not subtle. And he was into it, no doubt about it. She was touching him constantly, giving him long smoldering looks\u2026 While he was filming, he chose to have weeks away in the English countryside instead of returning to see his family who were also in the UK. This is all very typical of him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After filming wrapp<\/a>ed in August, Hammer and his family returned to Los Angeles \u2014 but he reportedly returned to London alone weeks later.<\/p>\n

Following Armie\u2019s second return to LA, the 38-year-old Chambers reportedly found the messages between Armie and \u201cAdeline\u201d \u2014 and was naturally \u201cdevastated\u201d by the discovery. The source dished:<\/p>\n

\u201cElizabeth was devastated, heartbroken. But they had 13 wonderful years together. She wasn\u2019t about to throw away her marriage for one indiscretion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Despite his alleged misdeeds, the couple decided to work on their marriage; however, their progress came to a halt when the coronavirus pandemic struck in March. The source added that after two months of quarantining with the family in the Cayman Islands, Hammer couldn\u2019t take the close quarters and said he was going home to Los Angeles. Except he went to Miami instead and accidentally sent Chambers a sexually explicit text that she knew was meant for another woman.<\/p>\n
