\n This woman doesn\u2019t have any skeletons hiding in her closet \u2014 they\u2019re all strip<\/a>ping on her front yard.<\/p>\n

For Halloween this year, Richmond, Texas, resident Angela Nava created a skeleton strip club on her lawn. The lusty outdoor venue \u2014 which Nava has named \u201cThe Candy Shop\u201d \u2014 features skeleton strippers pole-dancing in wigs, bony customers getting lap dances and offering tips, and even a skeletal bouncer wearing shades and a baseball hat emblazoned with the word \u201cSECURITY.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the scene is far from dead: Nava changes it up daily and plays music for about an hour around 8 p.m., she told ABC 13<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It\u2019s] really been just a great creative outlet for me,\u201d she said of her haunting hangout, which she dreamed up early in the coronavirus pandemic. \u201cWe\u2019ve just decided if this brings a little bit of joy and a little bit of smiles to someone, then we\u2019re doing everything right.\u201d<\/p>\n

It certainly seemed like the display was spreading joy, as her neighbors all loved it and it was a hit online. But then Nava received a letter from her homeowner\u2019s association on Sunday. Her exotic dancers, the group said in so many words, were offensive and inapp<\/a>ropriate for the family-friendly neighborhood, and Nava had 30 days to take them down, despite Halloween being this Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was a little sad,\u201d she said of her reaction. She initially planned to comply and shut the scene down, \u201cbut then I got so much support off of Facebook<\/a> and I said forget it.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are having so much fun with this and they love it, I\u2019m gonna continue to do it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The letter, Nava added, didn\u2019t specify any repercussions for not complying, although she suspects she may be fined.<\/p>\n
