Kemono Jihen TV Anime Announced at Jump Festa 2020
During a stage at Jump Festa 2020 on December 21, it was announced that Jump SQ manga series, Kemono Jihen, will be getting a TV anime adaption. The series, by manga author Sho Aimoto, has been serialized in the monthly magazine since December 2016 and has 9 collected volumes on sale as of December 2019.
The series focuses on occult detective Inugami from Tokyo who is called to a mountainous village in the Japanese countryside to investigate the rapid rotting of corpses in the area. In the village, he befriends some of the locals, but they’re not all hat they seem…
At the stage, Sho Aimoto and the editor of Kemono Jihen at Jump SQ spoke about the series, looked back on the series in 2019, and were asked questions by fans. Because it’s Aimoto’s birthday on December 22, he was presented with flowers.

Kemono Jihen will be broadcast sometime in 2020. More details will be revealed later.
