Pochi Iida’s The Elder Sister-Like One Manga to Get OVA Adaptation
It is officially confirmed today that Pochi Iida’s Ane Naru Mono / The Elder Sister-Like One manga will get its OVA (Original Video Animation) adaptation in 2020.
The manga was originally published as a doujinshi series for adults, and its rewritten edition for all ages has been serialized in KADOKAWA’s Dengeki G’s Comic. The rewritten edition’s latest fourth tankobon volume is set to be released on January 10, 2020, and its total print run will reach 750,000 copies with the release.
Its English edition has been published by Yen Press since April 2018. The publisher introduces the first volume’s synopsis as below:
Yuu has had a rough life. After losing his parents in a car accident when he was five, he found himself bounced back and forth among relatives, with no place to truly call home. Plagued by a constant feeling of loneliness, all he wants is a little companionship, and he’s about to get way more than he bargained for! Her name is Chiyo, and she’ll grant Yuu one wish. The only problem: She’s a demon of unimaginable power!
Further details such as voice cast and staff for the anime will be announced at a later date. Popular voice actress Yui Horie has voiced the main heroine Chiyo in the web CMs for the manga. You can check her voice in the clips below.
