#Should Mets Make Big Splash at Deadline?

Will Steve Cohen blow through the luxury tax and make a big splash before Friday’s trade deadline? Do the Mets need another bat? Should they get a starting pitcher? A reliever? The Mets continue to roll atop the NL East after taking two of three from the Blue Jays, but there’s still work to be done. The top teams in the NL are making moves to get better. Bullpen was terrific on Sunday and Friday. Pete Alonso is surging right now. This team is something special and better than the 2015 Mets. Edwin Diaz turned it around in the series, slider looked electric. Citi Field atmosphere was special over the weekend.
• TRADE DEADLINE: Kris Bryant? Javier Baez? Jose Berrios? Craig Kimbrel? Josh Donaldson? Do the Mets get any of these names before 4 p.m. Friday?
