Grimes and Elon Musk are “semi-separated,” the billionaire SpaceX founder has told Page Six. “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently, and are on great terms,” Musk said. “It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in L.A. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”
Grimes and Elon Musk first publicly revealed their relationship at the 2018 Met Gala. In May 2020, Grimes gave birth to their son X Æ A-XII. And, one year later, Grimes acted in the episode of Saturday Night Live that Elon Musk hosted.
Grimes discussed Elon Musk and their relationship in multiple interviews while doing press for Miss Anthropocene.
