“#Japanese Horror Classic RING Crosses Over into Dead by Daylight”
Based on the 1991 horror novel by Koji Suzuki, director Hideo Nakata’s landmark Ring film kicked off a series of its own when it premiered in 1998. Now, after a ton of sequels and a big name 2002 American remake that has, in some ways, overshadowed the original in pop culture in the west, the world of Ring is coming to survival game Dead by Daylight.
A trailer arrived to tease new Ring crossover chapter, which notes that it comes “from the original story” and is set to launch in March 2022.
