Steph Curry and his Warriors teammates are favorites to claim their fourth title since 2015 this month.

The Golden State Warriors head into their six NBA Finals since 2015 when they take on the Boston Celtics this month. In comparison, Boston will be playing their first Finals series since they last won the Larry O’Brien trophy in 2008.

The Warriors have been very impressive in their run to this stage so far, with Golden State seeing off all of the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks. In doing so, they’ve sent home stars such as Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant and Luka Doncic in the process.

The Celtics have arguably had the harder run to the Finals in comparison, with Boston needing to beat all of the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat to reach this stage.

The Warriors are favorites to claim their fourth title since 2015 given they should have a full healthy squad for the Finals. Additionally, they also boast the likes of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, all players who are hugely experienced on this stage.

Boston aren’t short of stars themselves, as the Celtics have the likes of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart. All of these players ended up playing huge roles in sending home the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Warriors have the most experience by far going into the Finals, with Golden State’s players competing in 123 Finals games cumulatively in their careers. The same can’t be said for Boston, who don’t have a single player in their roster that’s played in the Finals before.
