It is with a heavy heart that we report on the passing of Billy Kametz, a beloved voice actor known for roles like Naofumi in The Rising of the Shield Hero, Josuke in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable and many more. The 35-year-old actor passed away on June 9, 2022 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center, and a viewing is currently scheduled for Wednesday, June 15.

 

In April, Billy Kametz shared news of his Stage IV Colon Cancer diagnosis. He returned home to Pennsylvania to be with his family while undergoing treatment shortly thereafter. He was blown away by the outpouring of support and love he received during his battle, from messages from fans and friends alike to donations to his GoFundMe campaign.

 

Those who wish to contribute further may do so through memorial contributions made in Billy’s name to the Colon Cancer Coalition, and condolences can be sent through the funeral home website.

 

Billy will be missed, and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues in this difficult time.
