The Chiefs and star tight end Travis Kelce are reportedly closing in on an extension.

According to multiple reports Thursday, the five-time Pro Bowler is about to ink a four-year, $57.25 million deal that includes $28 million in guarantees and will keep him in Kansas City for the next six seasons. If negotiations are finalized, the Chiefs will have extended Kelce, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and DT Chris Jones over the course of this offseason.

The 30-year-old Kelce registered 97 receptions for 1,229 yards last season as the Chiefs went on to win Super Bowl 54. He caught six passes for 43 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown, along with a carry for two rushing yards during the 31–20 championship win.

Reports about Kelce’s deal come hours after the San Francisco 49ers made George Kittle the highest-paid tight end in the NFL with a five-year, $75 million deal.
