“NYPD says 25-year-old man shot in NYC”
A 25-year-old man was shot in the stomach in the East Village Friday night, police said.
The shooting took place near the corner of St. Mark’s Place and 1st Avenue just after 11 p.m., according to the NYPD.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive, cops said.
Three shell casings were recovered from the scene.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
