#Karen Pence will return to classroom to teach next week

Second Lady Karen Pence will be returning to teach at her private Virginia school next week, Vice President Mike Pence said Friday.

Karen teaches art two days a week at Immanuel Christian School in Fairfax, which will resume full-time, in-person learning, CNN reporter Betsy Klein tweeted.

“My wife’s going to be back in the classroom teaching next week,” Pence said.

The Pence’s daughter Charlotte also attended the K-8 school.

As the nation continues to grapple with the coronavirus crisis, the Trump administration has continuously pushed for schools to reopen for in-person instruction this fall.
