The Aniseka Novel Award (Anime de Sekai e! Shousetsu Taishou/Aniseka Taishou), which includes the promise of an anime adaptation for award recipients, has announced its prize winners.
The Grand Prize recipient is Puri‘s “Watashi no Ofuru de Waruindakedo” to Heroine ni Torimaki o Oshitsukerare, Totsuida Henkyou demo Yomezukaisaremasenga, Okage de Jiyuu ni Ikiremasu!. The premise involves the main protagonist, Princess Apricot, getting married to a follower of her not-very-nice mother, who refers to said follower as a “used article.”
Meanwhile, the Special Prize went to Nanase Natsume‘s Dungeon Sumikkogurashi ~Jitsuryoku Mujigakukei Haishinsha o Sekai wa Hisshi de Sagashidasu. Hayaku Dungeon kara Detekita!?~ and Aoi Miyamae‘s Bibou no Shounen no Kateikyoushi o Shiteitara Ikeoji Koushaku ni Propose saretandesuga? The former is about a dungeon streamer who focuses on non-combat activities like building and crafting, while the latter is an age-gap romance about the tutor of the future marquis and the current marquis.
Aside from anime adaptations, the rewards include book publication, a manga adaptation, and money. The Grand Prize monetary reward is one million yen (~US$6,950), while the Special Prize winners receive 30 thousand yen (~US$208)
The Aniseka Novel Award is organized by the entertainment company Straight Edge and the anime planning and production company Twin Engine. A number of anime studios/teams participate in the selection process, including:
