L.A. Comic Con 2025 Will Feature “First-Ever” Japanese Anime Voice Actor Guests

L.A. Comic Con 2025 will be host to Japanese anime voice actors Yuriko Yamaguchi (Evangelion‘s Ritsuko Akagi, One Piece‘s Nico Robin) and Takeshi Kusao (Slam Dunk‘s Hanamichi Kusaragi).

It will also feature other Japanese guests in the form of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger‘s Ryota Ozawa, Yui Koike, and Kazuki Shimizu.

Yamaguchi and Kusao are part of Akiba Station, described as L.A. Comic Con’s “dedicated anime experience,” and will make panel and autograph session appearances. The latter will take place on September 27 and 28.

L.A. Comic Con is celebrating this as the “first-ever appearance of Japanese voice actors,” with Chris DeMoulin, the CEO and General Manager of Los Angeles Comic Con owner Comikaze Entertainment, calling it “a milestone for the entire anime community of Los Angeles” in a prepared statement.

L.A. Comic Con 2025 will run from September 26 to 28 at Los Angeles Convention Center.
