Cinderella Gray Goes International in Cour 2 Trailer

Cinderella Gray Goes International in Cour 2 Trailer

Oguri Cap is going up against a global roster of Umamusume in Umamusume: Cinderella Gray‘s upcoming second cour, and these new opponents have now been highlighted via a new trailer and character visual.

These “International Rivals” include Italy’s Toni Bianca (Yuhko Kaida), the United States’ Obey Your Master (Shizuka Ishigami) and Michelle My Baby (Ayahi Takagaki), the United Kingdom’s Moon Light Lunacy (Akira Sekine), and New Zealand’s Ellerslie Pride (Miyu Tomita).

It was also announced that 10-FEET is the opening song artist for the new cour. Additionally, the staff credits have gone through some changes since the cour 2 teaser trailer. Yuki Ito is no longer co-credited as director with Takehiro Miura, and the character designer credits have expanded to include Yosuke Fukumoto. Plus, Kengo Matsumoto (the cour 1 ending‘s storyboard artist and unit director, among other roles in the series) has an action supervisor credit.

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray is based on the manga drawn by Taiyo Kuzumi with Masafumi Sugiura (Umamusume S1 co-series composer) as scriptwriter and Junnosuke Ito (S1 producer) as planning composer. The first cour premiered on April 6 JST, and the new cour is coming in October. The cour 2 synopsis reads:

Hailing from the humble countryside, Oguri Cap has turned the racing world on its head.  Her rampage through the national race scene seemed unstoppable… until it wasn’t.  Tamamo Cross, the current peak of racing, has bested the Beast and declared Oguri Cap her rival.

But Oguri Cap can’t afford to keep her attention on Tamamo Cross alone. One by one,  racers from all over the world arrive in Japan, ready to demonstrate their own prowess.  Up against the best the world has to offer, our ashen racer will need to reach beyond  her limits if she wants to stand a chance…

Keep those eyes peeled—a Cinderella story full of twists and turns lies ahead!
