Beyoncé is coming back to the Met Gala. The Cowboy Carter singer has been notably absent from the iconic soirée for the past 10 years, since 2016 when she attended the “Manus x Machina” gala in couture Givenchy.
She’ll be joined by fellow co-chairs Venus Williams, Nicole Kidman, and, as always, Anna Wintour.
The 2026 Met Gala theme will be “Costume Art,” and, per Vogue, “will explore the relationship between clothing and the body beneath.” Vogue also reports that the the Met Costume exhibit will explore different “thematic body types,” which include aging, pregnant and naked bodies.
In addition to the co-chairs, the Met Gala will feature Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz as the co-chair’s of this coming year’s Met Gala Host Committee, which also include other notable names like Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Alex Consani, Lena Dunham, Paloma Elsesser, LISA, and many others.
