Famitsu Sales: 12/1/25 – 12/7/25

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for week of December 1, 2025 to December 7, 2025.

Octopath Traveler 0 was the highest selling new release of the week, debuting at 21,698 units on Switch, 19,533 units on PlayStation 5, and 18,083 units on Switch 2 for an opening week total of at least 59,314 retail copies sold. The PlayStation 4 version did not chart in the top 10.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond followed at 21,415 units on Switch 2. The Switch version did not chart in the top 10.

On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 203,398 units, the Switch family sold 51,316 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 25,240 units, the Xbox Series family sold 231 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 20 units.
