Benefits of being a cosplay ambassador at gamescom
Anyone who is selected as a Cosplay Ambassador not only receives access to gamescom, but also benefits from many other benefits. These include, among others:
- Travel cost support – flight costs (economy class) as well as local and long-distance public transport up to 800 euros
- Accommodation: Hotel rooms in Cologne, from August 25th to 30th, 2026, including breakfast

Who can participate?
The Cosplay Ambassador Program is aimed primarily at cosplayers who have already built an active online community and have a corresponding reach.
The following requirements must be met for the application:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Has a sound knowledge of spoken and written English (at least level B2)
- Meets at least one of the social media guidelines listed below:
- Instagram: at least 50,000 followers
- YouTube: at least 165,000 subscribers
- TikTok: at least 200,000 followers
- FaceBook: at least 165,000 followers
- Create predominantly cosplay-related content for the channel (at least 90%)
If all requirements are met, interested parties can submit their application to gamescom with relevant information and a brief explanation of why they would like to become part of the program.
